A survey of Developers and HR reveals that Python, Java and JavaScript are the most popular programming languages for companies hiring. Now these days demand of these languages in the market are very high. Most of the big tech companies and startups are hiring developers of these three programming languages. According to TIOBE index These three programming languages are top among all.

1. Python

Python is an interpreted, high level and general purpose programming language which is very popular now these days. Python is widely used in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Web Development etc. Python is super easy to learn and it's the top 3rd Programming language among all (According to TIOBE index). It has so many great frameworks and libraries which we can use for different-2 purpose. Django and Flask frameworks are highly used for web development. 

Companies like Google, Instagram, Netflix, Spotify, Quora and Dropbox uses Python for development.

2. Java

Java is an class based, high level, object oriented and general purpose programming language. It is similar to c and c++ programming language and top 2nd programming language among all (According to TIOBE index). Java is basically used for client-server web application, Android application Development, Big Data and enterprise application development. Spring and Hibernate are the most popular framework of java programming language. Spring Framework is basically used for web application development and Hibernate works as object relational mapping tool.

Java is extensively used for android application development, but now most of the developers choose Kotlin over java for android application development. In the year 2019 Google announced Kotlin as official language for android application development.

Many Companies like Twitter, Goldman Sachs, eBay and Google uses java for development purpose.

3. JavaScript

JavaScript abbreviated as JS is and high level, just-in-time compiled and multi paradigm programming language. JavaScript is used for Web Application Development, Mobile Application Development, Web Server and Game Development. It has so many great framework for front end and back development. Frameworks and libraries like Angular, React and Vue are popular for front end Development whereas Express, Meteor and Next are popular for backend development. React Native (Framework of JavaScript) is used for cross platform (Android and iOS) Mobile Application Development.

Companies like Microsoft, PayPal, Netflix, Groupon and Uber uses JavaScript for development.
