Last week Founder and CEO of Telegram stated that "a growing company needs great efforts and atleast a few hundred million dollar per year". So, Telegram is start generating revenue in year 2021 and planning to launch some paid features in year 2021. He further stated that " For most of Telegram history, I paid for the expences of the company from my personal savings, and Telegram current growth is on track to reach billions of users and to require appropriate funding".




There are so many ways in which Telegram will monetize our application and start generating revenue. Durvo stated that we can monetize one to many groups via Ad Platform through which we can get huge amount of traffic. "We can paid our services like private communication, secret chat, small businesses and stickers. The sticker makers also get some part of the profit" he stated. According to this Telegram will get huge traffic and profit as well as Telegram based creators and artists also get profit. 

Pavel Durvo also mentioned that regular users of telegram will keep enjoying telegram free and forever and the features of telegram that are currently free will remain free for every user of telegram. Some features and functionality that we are planning to launch in year 2021 and onwards will be paid for non premium users of telegram.

After the paid services telegram will be more professional and useful for private communication and small businesses. Telegram impact more users due to it's great user experience, extensive features, large and wide network and ad free services. Durvo also stated that showing ads in private chats(one to one chat) is a nasty idea". Displaying ads in private chats will affect Telegram user experience and increase hastiness.
